This evening I came home to find my cat, Buster, had died. He had been doing poorly for the last two weeks so I had some warning but am still quite sad. He had been part of the family for 16 years. Long after the wife and kids were no longer here, Buster was still with me.

Buster was the official boss of the studio. I learned very quickly Buster was a good judge of how a shoot would go. If the model and Buster got along then the shoot would go well, if not, the results were always poor. Usually both Buster and the model would want to shoot together. One of the reasons I'm posting this is to let several of his co-models who are members here know of his passing.

Part of me thinks its silly to morn a cat. After all, there is so much worse going on in the world. But then I think of the times I've been sick, or very sad and Buster would be there, curled up with me until I was better. Of course then he was off doing his own thing, but he always knew when I needed him. So, I don't guess its so silly after all.
